Smokin' Whitetails
At Smokin’ Gun Hunting Ranch we specialize in true Northern trophy whitetails. Our herd genetics produce mature bucks ranging from the 160s all the way to 300+ inches, giving hunters a legitimate opportunity at the buck of a lifetime. Wisconsin has long been known for producing giant whitetails, and our ranch is built around continuing that tradition with carefully managed deer, quality habitat, and the opportunity to hunt mature trophy animals.

Our hunts are not rushed, and we keep hunting pressure low so every hunter has the best chance possible. The goal isn’t just to harvest a buck — it’s to enjoy the entire hunting experience.
Not a High-Volume “Truck & Trailer” Outfit
Many hunting outfits today focus on volume over experience. Hunters show up, get rushed into a stand, and sometimes the hunt feels more like a production line than a true hunting experience.
That’s not how we operate at Smokin’ Gun Hunting Ranch.
We keep our hunter numbers limited, our pressure low, and our focus where it belongs — on the hunter and the hunt. You won’t see trucks pulling up dropping off deer, rushed hunts, or crowded stands here. Our goal is to give every hunter the time, opportunity, and experience they came for.

Deposit Policy for Smokin' Gun Hunting Ranch
1 - 3 Hunters
To secure your hunt dates at Smokin’ Gun Hunting Ranch, a deposit is required at the time of booking.
For groups of 1–3 hunters, a $500 deposit per hunter is required to lock in your hunting dates on our calendar. Once your deposit is received, your hunt dates will be officially reserved, and confirmation will be sent to you.
4 - 6 Hunters
For groups of 4–6 hunters, a $1,000 deposit per hunter is required to secure your hunting dates at Smokin’ Gun Hunting Ranch. Once deposits are received, your hunt dates will be officially reserved on our calendar and confirmation will be sent to your group.
Our Products
At Smokin’ Gun Hunting Ranch, we make the booking process simple and convenient. Once you secure your hunt dates with your booking agent, a deposit is required to officially reserve those dates on our calendar.
We accept the following payment options for hunt deposits:
Cash App • Venmo • PayPal • Apple Pay • Check
If paying by PayPal, you will receive a PayPal invoice that allows you to pay using a debit or credit card, and you do not need to have a PayPal account to complete the transaction.
If paying by check, your dates will be temporarily secured while the check processes. In the rare event a check is returned, we will contact the check writer to resolve payment in order to maintain your reservation.

This class features mature, well-developed whitetails ranging from 150” to 180”. These are quality trophy animals that offer an excellent balance of opportunity and challenge within a 3-day hunt.
This level is ideal for hunters looking for a true trophy whitetail experience while staying within a more accessible price point.
181" - 200" TROPHY WHITETAIL
Upper-Tier Trophies | Increased Challenge
This class includes advanced-age whitetails ranging from 181” to 200”. These bucks are more experienced, more cautious, and require a higher level of execution.
Designed for hunters targeting a next-level trophy, this class delivers both size and a more strategic hunting experience.
201" - 300" TROPHY WHITETAIL
201" - 300" TROPHY WHITETAIL
Elite Class | Top-End Northern Giants
This is our highest tier, featuring fully mature, elite whitetails ranging from 201” to 300”. These are rare, high-caliber animals that represent the top end of what we offer.
This class is built for hunters pursuing a true, once-in-a-lifetime caliber buck.
All hunts in this category are conducted specifically for deer within the 201”–300” class.
